After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. asked for me and said they were from finance and I had answered a phone survey recently. I dont answer phone surveys so I told the guy on the end that I never answer phone surveys, and wasnt interested in finance, loans, debt management or PPI and put the phone down. hope they dont call again.

Frequently have these calls from Asian sounding men and women who become quite aggressive when I ask why they are ringing, told them we have registered with the TPS and to take our number off their list but to no avail. This time I told them know one of that name at this address and they just asked if I was sure. Will be interesting to see if we get any more! Why hasn t someone tracked this number down and charged them with harassment calls?

I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H
