Although this is a local area code, the automated message upon picking up the phone said…’Dear Customer, your Amazon Prime membership has expired and you have been charged £95…’ I hung up the phone before listening to the rest of the message! This is a scam. Claiming to be our child who has a broken phone so has got a temporary number. Then asking for a money transfer as their bank account is locked

Junk phone call - probably scammer Just hung up when I answered the phone.

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.
