Green Energy Together asking for a 25% upfront payment to secure our solar panel installation, they didn't introduce themselves properly so I didn't trust them and told them I'd rather stick to the agreement to pay on the day as originally agreed. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Asian woman called saying she was from Virgin media. Told her I was busy and the line went dead. Have rung virgin Media and it isn't them.

Received a call on my mobile on 16 Feb 2023. Caller said he was ringing about my network. Saw his name had come up as Dr David Fenton.i hung up as I thought it was a scam. Checked online and the caller showed as a Dermatologist in Harley Street London
Called yesterday but left no message. Called again today but silence when I picked up. Looked number up on several sites - indications that it is an energy related scam with initial calls to check that your landline is live.
Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm (Tree & Landscaping Services) who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them over £600 for about an hour with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to a bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.
