I got a WhatsApp's message from this number, the person was pretending to be my son. The message said Hi mum this is my new number, my phone broke you can save it. I replyed but got suspicious because the reply to my message was not how my son would reply. I tried ringing the number 3 times but nobody answered. I rang my sons number and sure enough he hadn't changed his number at all. This scammer I have no doubt would have been asking me to transfer money into his account. BEWARE !!!!!

Person called saying from BT and needing to check my internet connection. Wanted to know which platform I used for various activities. When I suggested that he could find this out by looking at their system the caller told me to "Go to hell" and dropped the line.

SCAM I think it’s a romance scam number. Started innocently but then exhibited signs of romance scamming … wonderful to have met you, I love you, I’m hoping all will go well etc… not even met or spoken. Really odd and find the number has been searched a few times which only confirms my suspicions!

Scam call from India. Automated message with American accent saying they are from HMRC and they legal action is filed against you blablabla. When you hold the line you speak to some Indian in an Indian call center. Cheap scam, wonder who would still falls for bullshit like this.

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. I've had two calls from this number on my work mobile. I missed the first attempt but answered the second a few minutes ago. She claimed to be calling from Curry's PC World in London and gave a London post code. Strange then to have a number with an Edinburgh area code! It appears that it's trying to sell phones. Very noisy call centre and a very bad line indicating that the call was coming from overseas, probably India judging by the accent. Block the number so you're never bothered by it again.

TAXES / HMRC Phone call pertaining to be from him tax office about a fraudulent claim

Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! He started talking nonsense and generally being cheeky so I asked him to remove my number from his database, advised he would, asked if the music was loud enough for me etc, told him call wasn't costing me anything, he hung up, CLOWN

This caller was female told me she was from Microsoft. I kept repeating go awey go away, you are a scam. Still tried to talk me into listening, put the phone down. It was annoying to say the least, I think it was a scam.
