It looks like they know your number and full name. the caller said they are "consumer information bureau" and wants to do survey.

Sounded Chinese but couldn't tell a word they were saying. Passed onto several others with similar language problems. Very persistent and carried on when I suggested they were scammers, didn't stop till I put the phone down

They try to get you to commit insurance fraud by saying that you ve been injured in a motor accident when in fact you re perfectly ok. They go on to say that the insurance companies keep a certain amount of money set aside when a motor accident occurs. They reckon they can get you this money and it won t cost you a penny.

This company called me to discuss my online presence so the guy said. Caller sounded very desperate and said he could have my business featured on Google page 1 and offered unlimited clicks and get me more business. What the guy didn t realise nor ask is that I have ran these adwords marketing campaigns before for various businesses I have and for the £150.00 fixed fee he said it would cost, my average click cost is £4+ and would literally get no work from this amount of spend. They said they were from Virgin media and my internet had been hacked but sent me links on my mobile and the word Vergin is spelt incorrectly so I ended the call.
