Some oriental male purporting to be calling from o2 - "Hello, this is Adam, I'm calling from o2, how are you today?" I did not respond so there was a long pause, so I ask if he was going to continue, he put the phone down. I recently changed from o2. I've seen this with others, it would seem either o2 are selling our information to others, or potentially has staff exploiting their systems and our personal data.

Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.
