It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.

Telephone call from 01505 340340 on 3 March, 2023. Recorded message from unidentified "bank" regarding unspecified charges. Option to select number to process call onwards, probably to enable fraud. Obviously terminate telephone call and block number.

Silent call. I live in Spain and I know nobody in the UK, but someone is calling me repeatedly from this number and when I answer, they hang up. This has all the hallmarks of a scam where. I'm sure that, if you call back, they charge you a large amount of money.

I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. SCAM Said they were a claims company. Had my name, date of birth but had wrong address details. She claimed that I had used them to make a claim several years ago which isn't true. She said it may be so long ago I had forgotten using though them. It's not too long and I know I never have or will use claim companies or cold calls. She made a lot of saying she wouldn't ask for any details that could be a risk to me but went straight into my employment status and address details. I gave her NOTHING and NEITHER

Automated call, suspected SCAM . Call informed me of having two large payments from my card. No card identified but asked one to press 1 to speak to a customer service op.

I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.
