Fraud pretending to be bank security stating that someone is trying to use my credit card and asking me to press 1. Put the phone down and call block the number. Somehow they are using what sounds like the same voice as my bank system.

it;s the usual lowlife trying desperately trying to rob me of my pension pot. I'd like them to have a go at my bank, I'd get rid of my overdraft then! Fraud On Caller Display, this number looked like a London exchange. On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Others receiving calls like this might be taken in. What can be done to stop them?

Just has a call from this number stating that is was from the finance department of ******* (did not wait to hear any more as must be a scam). If from a the finance department of a VALID company, would write to you id any problems, NOT phone. Blocked at once.

I got a message calling for me to update my 3 network details. I have reported this to the authorities, who will trace this number and the scammers behind it.

English sounding lady called saying she was from a home efficiency company. When I asked what she wanted, she said "You should get some fucking manners." If they are selling a product, swearing at the 'customer' is stupid! Very rude!

Pretty sure this is a scam number I’ve had the exact same call before asking for me to read out a code from a text I’d get sent from O2 put the phone down and called o2 myself and they said it was a scam

Probably a scam. Recorded message talked of transaction on my account (what account?) being halted as it was an unusual transaction, and to press 1 to call back.

This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.
