SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. Scammer purporting to be from BT

Fraud ,Recorded message "from bank security", NO, Hang up.

The male voice said they were calling from my bank to inform me that a large sum of money had been sent abroad and a purchase had been made on Amazon. The instructions were to press number 1 or 3 to speak to someone. At this poit I hung up.

Exchange message, when called "The number you have dialed has not been recognised. Please check and try again."

SCAM, saying they are from Virgin Media but they could not tell me my address.

Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

Text txt message offering a form for me to fill in to collect my money from the Gov Energy Support Scheme. Really low scumbag try as people are panicking.
