A VERY Asian sounding DANIEL just called from 02082132170 claiming to be from "technical services"..... put the phone down on me when I commented he was no more a DANIEL than I was a MOHAMMED!!! Usual 5/6/7 second silence gap after answering the call to "DANIEL" introducing himself,,DEAD GIVEAWAY IN ITSELF!!!!!

I pressed 1 and a lady with an Indian accent answered saying she was HMRC and "how can I help you?" Call supposed to be Amazon telling me someone had just spent £700 but they put a hold on it because they thought it was suspicious, it requested that I should press 1 for info. This was an automated call so I politely(not) said go away and I hung up

Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.

Asian person saying will only take a minute just wanted to ask a few questions. normally i just hang up but for some reason i didnt. asked me what my brand of tv is, how much i spend on holidays, who my electricty is with, my income bracket where i would go on holiday. dont think they are con artist, just gathering data so more companies can send you spam...should have hung up! waste of 2 minutes
