SCAM - calls to take card payments for advertising space that has never been taken do not pay them - offer 10% discount to pay today but there is no product? cannot send an invoice and when questioned he becomes rather angry and agitated said his name was James, very strong northern accent and we live down south on the coast so wouldn't be advertising near him anyway!

I believe I have received what I believe to be a scam call from this number stating payments have been taken form my bank for Amazon and Western Union press 1 for customer support. Any 'odd' payments would not be reported by my bank in this way

Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Very odd and certainly not into giving my views on our amazing NHS to a country that wants to bloody buy it off us!!

SCAM Call from this number said she was from Carphone Warehouse. Asked why she was calling, some rubbish about a deal on a new phone. When asked how she got my number since I've never had dealings with 02084291383 i was told my number was on her database...asked 'what database'...she has a database from all network providers. Told her to F O and hung up. When looking the number up it appears genuine, so probably spoofed

Internet. Calling from a Northern Irish telephone number. Claim to be from BT checking your router's download and upload speeds and wanting me to run a program so they can have access to my computer to supposedly clearing any faults. I did not run program.

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. SCAM Guy called Daniel Gomes purporting to be from Amazon Prime informing me that someone in Manchester had tried to use my account and they needed to verify my details or my account would be suspended for my protection. I did not supply any information, but was told to think about it and call back on 0208 123 7233 which I certainly did not do. I was called again later and this time I hung up. I have received genuine e-mails from Amazon mentioning this type of scam.

Caller claims he is from the crime squad. His accent is East European. Talks total nonsense about crypto currency . Block this number

texted me to say a new device had been linked to my bank account and included a link to check my online bank account.

Missed the first bit but then mentioned magistrates court and taking it seriously and to talk to one of the officers dealing with the case press 1 - blocked!

Called saying from 02 on a very bad line offering loyalty discount. Said I wasn’t interested so he hung up and then got a security text from o2 with a one time code on it saying if someone has called me, they don’t work for o2 and to hang up the phone

SCAM Definitely used for call pretending to be from BT about broadband and IP address. Checked with BT and they hadn’t called.

Claimed to be from my bank and asked for clearance for a payment I had supposedly made for nearly £1000.
