I was contacted from this number at 16:30 on 10.06.2022. It was a man of Asian origin judging by the accent (Pakistani, Indian, Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi) and said quote: “Hello, is this ***** *****? Fraud .+44-120-493-6904. Exactly the same as previously reported by Dave below. This is a Fraud. Avoid at all costs !

Automated call, claiming to be from a bank (not specified) to inform me two payments had been made on a card. One to Amazon, and one an international transfer. Asked to press 1 to cancel, and another number to be transferred. This is the third call received in less than a week from similar numbers.

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. I contacted them on her behalf and asked

SCAM This number called me today claiming to be from the carphone warehouse, i told them i didn't have an account with them they proceeded to say they knew and offered me a 'good deal' i said i was happy with my supplier! I was them shouted at by the caller telling me not to ring them again, i said i didn't, you rang me then the caller became abusive telling me not to answer the phone to them again!!! In my considered opinion this is a 'SPAM' call. The caller repeatedly interrupted me when I was trying to speak! Said he was from an organisation called 'Premier Rewards'. Sounded highly suspicious - he was telling me he wanted to give me some money .... for nothing!! Yeah!!!

Told they were Microsoft ringing from Reading became abusive when wouldn’t do what he wanted!

Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

Claimed to be calling from "auto repair centre" offering 40% off. Wanted to confirm the phone number he'd just called me on, but when I asked instead "40% off what?" he got confused and hung up.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM! This is a scam, I had them call me on different numbers 5 times in the last 2 days claiming there from several different companies. There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. There try and get you to give them your bank details, once you do there will steal money from your account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION!

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

Caller said she was from EE, asking me if I wanted 40% off my energy bills.
