I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Report them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud and if they send letters, ignore them but keep a record of them so that when they do get caught (a matter of time) you can contribute evidence if required. This number when called back tells you that you have dialled an incorrect number. My opinion is by experience that it’s a spam number. Usually trying to sell something or get details from you for insurance or PPI claims. I have blocked now.

This was a phishing attempt - using robotic voice. They claimed to have been from the inland revenue. I have reported them to the Inland Revenue.
After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number

This number called and an automated voice asked me to confirm if my name was Nicolson (it isn t) when I clicked option 2 to speak to someone to update their records I got another repeating automated voice telling me the lines were busy and that they were calling on behalf of a company called Dorkies in Hardengreen. Hardengreen is about 10 miles from me. I did a Google search while listening to this automated message and couldn t find any company with that name or similar and hung up assuming it s a scam.
SCAM - Person claimed they were from UK Insurance Department / Black Horse Finance. Had my name & first line of my address (somewhat disturbingly) and wanted me to verify further information for a PPI refund, even though I had never claimed for a PPI refund. They wouldn't give me a number to call and when I said this couldn't be correct, the date for claiming for PPI has long gone and companies aren't ringing people out of the blue years when they haven't claimed, he hung up.

I am really fed up with these type of constant calls, I am ex-directory and with the Telephone Preference Service I have complained about this number to Ofcom and will keep doing this every time I get these unwanted calls. It s about time the government did something about this constant harassment.
