Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. Automated voice telling me my insulation in the loft isn't 'up to govt. standard'. Says he's called Tom and that hey will arrange an appointment today to come and have a look at the insulation. He doesn't sound really automated, but clearly this voice is. As soon as I asked if he was a computer the phone went dead.

This company rang my mobile. I let it ring out. I rang them back from my office. It was a marketing call.
You can use Truecaller to block calls. You will get notification that the number tried to call but when blocked it doesn t actually ring so you are not disturbed. You can pay by setting up direct debit and then cancel so not automatically taken following year. Don t take renewal quote...go on to AA site and get quote. Will be lower than renewal. Some organisations ie NHS get discount. Be smart. Play them at their own game.

SCAM calling trying to be Carphone warehouse. I know this was going to be a fraud a guy with indian accent called before. They keep changing landline numbers and I keep blocking them I have told the guy on the phone not interested. Repeating this to him multiple times hes not taken this in then I wen into repeat mode and kept repeating not interested all the time and the guy keeps trying to talk over me phone company will never do that to customer.
