Recording claimed to be bank security. From my account £800 to Amazon and £2000 to overseas account. Then the usual press 1 to confirm
SCAM. Claims they ring from Catphone Warehouse but after googling phone number belongs to Radisons Dry Cleaning. Speaker barely can talk English and when I asked a question, he didn't understand it.
SCAM said I'd won multiple entries into the lottery and and if I won they wanted my bank details to pay winnings in when I told him I would not be giving my bank details they hang up
ActiveQuote - Private Health insurance. Call center They call at renewal time, presumably so they can get another commission. I chose my existing provider from a comparison website and don't need any "advice" to renew with them. Obviously, if you keep change providers any pre-existing medical conditions won't be covered. You can supposedly email [email protected] to update your preferences. I haven't tried it yet, but it should stop the calls.

Automated call . I just kept saying hello, and 'Jess from solar power' kept repeating her introductory message, with exactly the same phrasing and intonation. Clearly automated but trying to sound like an actual person. Very dodgy.

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive. Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.
This number has been calling for well over a year. If you pick up its not answered but sounds like something may happen like a message. I don't wait for that I hang up before. If you try to hang up what dialling, it doesn't work!! Bastards, but OK it's a freephone number but it doesn't do anything useful just block it. It's a waste of battery.

This number called and used the voice record (both in English and Chinese) claiming to be NHS. Saying that they noticed an unusual use related to my NHS number and that I should press 1 for English. I didn't follow the instruction anyway.
Fraud. Claims to be PayPal but answered by Indian call center. Asked them what my paypal email address was and they hung up. Kept calling them and asking if they knew that what they were doing was fraud/illegal.
