Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.

Sounded like an Indian call centre. The lady claimed to be from "Medical Health Services" telling me I could have some kind of personal alarm system because I was a senior citizen over the age of 60. When I told them I wasn't over 60 they said goodbye and hung up. I suspect some kind of scam call.

FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

I didn’t tell them he was deceased and said if you want ant contact with my husband you’ll only get it through me , as this Indian insisted he spoke to him . I said do you understand what I’m saying to you if you have anything to say to my husband you won’t get passed me so either hang up or speak your peace . He then said my husbands debt had been passed to him as he’d owed money for

SCAM - I had the same call (01970607650 - 11/5/2022, 14:36) as several people before me, medical alert company, entitled to an alert pendant, wanting to ask me questions. I said wait, I wanted to ask him questions, where was he calling from, um...Dorset, then he started his spiel again. So I asked where he got my name from and why he thought I was entitled to a medical pendant, and he hung up. BE VERY CAREFUL - THIS GUY IS PREYING ON VULNERABLE PEOPLE!!!
