Very demanding woman, said she was from BT and wanted to fix my router problem. There’s nothing wrong with my router. I disconnected when she started asking me to press certain buttons on my phone.

SCAM - I got a "Security Warning" from O2 with a one-time code, followed by a call from this number that is clearly a scam.

Automated call claiming to advise a stop on a £700 payment to Amazon. Utter scam!

This was a recorded message saying your credit card had been used, (no name, no card reference) for a payment to Amazon and a large payment to an over sea recipient and to press 1, to allow the transaction or 2 to speak to an advisor to stop the transaction. Using 1471 to check the caller number, the number given was a 16 digit number. 0179582197582587. This was definitely a SCAM call.

This is a scam. They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! This number is a scam number - phoning about My MS computer, which I don't have. As soon as I challenged she hung up. The accent was foreign, but using common English forename- it is 100% a scam line.

Uber taxi driver that apparently moonlights as a food delivery driver too. Doesn't confirm the taxi job but says you don't turn up, costing you some of the fare. Just Google the number to see how much of a prat he is! Crybaby!

Paid number Not sure what it was as I can’t remember ringing it and can’t find it through google, but it cost £6 and I was only connected to the line for a total of 2 seconds.

Scam phone call. Agressive Asian (chinese?) woman rang four times consecutively. Claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted access to my computer which, she claimed, had been hacked and needed repair. Would not take no for an answer! and kept ringing.

Smooth talking guy, asked for me by name. Wanted to talk to me regards my BT bill. I asked him what the problem was. He said no problem, I am your BT agent and could do a better deal. I said to him "but you aren't BT are you" and he told me he was authorised, had a number etc etc. Didn't seem too pleased when I said to him "You are not BT you are JTalk and hung up. Rang back but I let it ring out. Don't need to do business with a liar.
