Lady asked if i want to authorize or cancel Amazon purchase of a gift card £300.00 She asked about BOB and Full name but when I asked to give me my name she said that she approves the purchase because i refused to give my name and hanged up. I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Foreign speaking lady asked to speak to my father by name, informed her he died 16yrs ago. She continued talking about shares he had etc. I asked her to send me details and how she got my phone No. She said it wasn’t possibly because she has hundred of people on her books. Didn’t catch how she got my number, but she also knew my address. Think it is a scam. How low can they stoop.
