Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.

I had a text from this number "Hi Alice, it's Carrie, there's a reception tomorrow. do you have time to go with me?" I thought initially this was a wrong telephone number put in. but seeing as it has been flagged up a number of times. I think it's a phishing call. I've not answered it, as this would have shown my number was active

The automated call says its from HMRC. It's designed to frighten you into selecting the option to be connected to a call centre. I didn't take it any further as it was clearly a very nasty, aggressive attempt to initiate a scam.

Emmisions advice team, wanted me to enter contract to reclaim compensation for my diesel BMW. Wanted me to agree contract over the phone and text then said they'd send me details and I'd have 14 days to cancel the contract, when I asked for the contract in writing by email first before agreeing to anything she got sh1tty and hung up.

Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS IF YOU ANSWER BECAUSE IT WONT COME UP AS SPAM CALLER

Recorded message supposedly Amazon saying I’d ordered £399 worth of goods. Obviously I haven’t. Another scam caller. I now have 49 scam callers blocked on my landline and mobile.

Said he was doing a survey about energy, said that i lived in one on the highest energy use areas in the country and local energy providers want to understand why. I said I would not answer any questions.but he proceeded to ask if I had double glazing. I repeated I was not prepared to disclose any information about me or my property to someone on the phone I did not know. He was polite and hung up. I did feel it was leading to a scam call

Ignored but just as phone began to ring I received a one-time-passcode from O2. This is a well known scam, they ask for the passcode, then use the passcode to enter your account, lock you out, order new handsets etc. and leave you with the £1,500 bill for a new iPhone. Don't let these cunts catch you out and warn your less fraud-savvy relatives

Was pressing for information about company vehicles but seemed very against actually explaining WHY he wanted that information. On multiple occasions he asked for different people in the company to ask instead of dealing with me and after many attempts I finally got to the bottom of the nature of his call. The phone number 02045174376 may be a scam to get money from people. The call was of bad quality with a lot of background noise. The caller tries to get you to except a phone contract cheaper than you current contract, but with the same or better terms and staying with your current provider. They then ask for an up front fee which they say you will back with the contract. I could not confirm what company owns the phone number, but when you call the number back it went to a message in a foreign language.
