A man with an English accent told me his name, but I don't remember it. I was told that the call was from y local energy consultancy and I was asked if in the past I had used the Government scheme for installing fibreglass in my loft. I said I hadn't used the Government scheme and I did have loft insulation that was installed and then boarded over. I tried to say that I wasn't going to allow the boards to be lifted and he talked over me to say that he wasn't interested and he hung up.

It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. SCAM Got a call just now from 020 8089 6127 by a South African sounding woman, saying she was from a company called Teabag, and she went on the say I understand you have defrauded out of money on-line and want to get it back. When I asked how she got my name and phone number she hung up.
Claimed to be a managing director and wanted to sell a course at a place called tile yard. Couldn’t get his words out properly and he didn’t seem to know what he was going on about. Sounded very inexperienced/out of his depth. Would not trust this caller or his business. AVOID.

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

Text message left claiming to be from a child of mine, but didn’t give a name. Asked me to WhatsApp them and this was their new number, for a new phone as the old number was for the old damaged phone. It just struck me as odd so ignored and then blocked the number. I believe it was an attempt to get me to engage and was a scam.
