I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.
Insurance. This number has called my landline and mobile recently. They wanted to help us get our money back from Solar Energy, despite the fact that we didn't lose any money to them. They had wrong data about our solar installation. When I pointed this out and asked to be removed from the list I was sworn at.
I stayed over 8 times that I was uninterested and please take my number of the system. The woman said that she would put my number back in the dialler and get someone else to call me

Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!
