Male caller calling from Virgin Media - did not believe him - about problems with my internet over the past two weeks. Told him to get lost and hung up.
This number called today for the first time. I have BARRED it, end of story. Some people here seem to have a story to tell, or getting involved, get annoyed about these idiots ringing all day, it this utter nonsense. Bar the number for life - nothing further to talk about. Talk about what?

Scammer telling me there was unusual activity on my paypal account. Not the case.
Apparently someone from "credit investigation" saying I have "several debts" but that they know "I'm paying them off" and attempted to get more information from me. Absolutely a massive scam caller, no company name given and just factually incorrect. They're fishing for some poor person who's in debt that will believe the nonsense they're saying. Be very careful and do not give them information, they had my full name. Scammer/Phishing.

A south african lady left a message with a colleague that she needed to talk to me about a private financial matter. When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. Answering this number gives rise to a recorded message threatening legal action and arrest for tax evasion, and an option to press a number for further action. I rang off, but this looks like a dangerous phishing call that is after personal details (banking details). As it comes from a Westminster landline it should be easy to trace and shut down. It should be investigated by by the police.
