This number was a representative from a Greenpeace call agency. I checked with Greenpeace to validate this call and they confirmed it. They were asking for a direct debit payment after acquiring my number from a petition I signed. The service was friendly and informative and not malicious unless you don't like charity pressure calling.

I have been called twice by this number on my mobile, and no answer message has been left. I have just called it back on my work land line (using 141), and received a message saying I was called today by their "Events Team", who will call me back! I had a call from this number where a somewhat threatening female voice informed me that criminal charges were about to be brought against me. I'm a 74 year old female who, while maybe not quite fitting the description of an angel, has not committed any crimes, heinous or otherwise. Were I the type who was easily intimidated I might have pressed 1 to see further details but luckily I'm not so I didn't. I'd love to punch this so and so right in the kisser but that WOULD be criminal - but deserved!!
