Claimed to be calling from O2, Indian call centre. Offering a 40% discount off my next bill, but could not tell me the name of the account holder. Hung up when I asked who he wanted to speak to. Said he'd send 2 text messages for me to activate the discount!!!!! Why if he was from O2, and I was with O2 he'd have my details and could active the discount automatically. Block this number.

Trusted to answer as it's a number local to me. Turned out to be an automated message claiming to be from VISA payments to say that my card had been charged £300 to Amazon and £1100 to Western Union, encouraged me to press 1 to dispute charges. Decided it was going to be a phishing scam and hung up.

He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Received an abandoned call on 22/03/2023. I called back and they immediately knew my name as they could see my number (despite it being withheld). After much persuasion on my part, they told me they were DIRECT AFFINITY EUROPE and had been given my details by a Hull motor dealer (D.M. Keith) to chase a 'lost sale'. But I had told D.M Keith that my number should never be passed to any third party!

Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.
