He said "sorry we may have wrong number" so theyre obviously working through a list. (It takes a few seconds to connect to an Indian call centre) Clearly spam calling, could be scam. 25/04/2023 Call from this number. Claiming to be Barclays Bank, very poshly spoken female telling me fraudulent activity on my account etc. kept them busy answering my questions, until they put down the phone. Quite sophisticated scam - beware

SPAM Call to my landline @ 10.04 am. Recorded message saying they were calling about a potentially fraudulent £600 charge on my debit card abroad. No mention of bank. Was asked to press 1 to confirm the charge or 2 to speak to an advisor. Hung up.
Telephone rang, I answered then all I could hear was people speaking in another language (not English) when he finally realised I had answered I just hung up. No doubt a coldcaller spam person...

Appears to be a phishing call. I answered and an automated voice just said "goodbye" and the call ended. This typically is an attempt to have you call the number back for any number of reasons, typically non of which are good.
Received a call saying it was International Banking Finance and that two large amounts had been withdrawn from my bank account. Asked to Press1 to speak to someone. I also received a similar call a week ago from a different number, but still the Derby code. The one that rung last week was a local business who appeared to know nothing about it.

I do not know anyone in Edinburgh nor am I dealing with any company/organisation in Edinburgh! The caller did not leave a message which leaves me to think it was either. Scam or someone selling something. Either way, it was an unwanted phone call.

This number called me and did not leave a message when I didn't answer. Unknown number, international call, not expecting any calls from the UK. Likely a scammer. Number is currently being monitored by this site as it is making numerous calls and caution is advised.
