Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. "financial welfare group"..... Thats the automated message i got when i called back from one of their missed calls..... Ummmm. No idea whatthey are.
When I answered their call, they asked who I was!! They then went on to say it was about payments made on an Airplus Corporate Credit card, I don't have one. They then said it was connected to a phone number ending in 2331. After saying that wasn't my number they hung up and I've not been able to get them to answer since.
I had a message from this phone number stating that my bank account had been compromised and was requesting that I should click on the link. I did not perform this action as the message did not look authentic.
Asking for bank details and for you to contact fraud department as someone trying to get money from your account….not possible to ring them back…scam.

Got a cold call from this number said to be Gold Cap and to do with investment. After some seconds the line went dead.
