Phony gas boiler cover salesman. Totally crooked and, of course, no call back possible. Crooks

just called by this number. A robot call, falsely claiming my (credit card?) account has been charged twice and asking me to call another number. I immediately hung up and checked my account. No such sums had been taken. The large number of calls made from this number appears to confirm a scam attempt.

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.

Paid number. I found that a 20-second call was registered going out of my number to this number, although I never dialled it. I was later charged for the call. I have no idea how it got into my phone and how it auto-dialled.

Sounded like an Indian call centre. The lady claimed to be from "Medical Health Services" telling me I could have some kind of personal alarm system because I was a senior citizen over the age of 60. When I told them I wasn't over 60 they said goodbye and hung up. I suspect some kind of scam call.
