Interesting many mention Curry’s-Inundated for YEARS with fake curry’s and other services e mails.Plus piggy backing my e mail contacts falsely to try and get me to click on links. Its an invalid number, but was left by a scammer calling from 020 7776 9274 claiming to work for Halifax bank.
Scammers pretending to be bank security! Recorded message about suspicious transactions with my card, usual instructions, press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to someone.

This number phoned and a recorded message stated that it was my bank asking to verify that 2 payments made today were genuine and if not to press 1 to speak to a member of the fraud team. No name of bank given so I suspect it to be a scam.

I receive many such calls but they never leave a message. If a message was left I would respond. If I answered all such calls I wouldn't have sufficient time to run my own business. This is a number that is in a series of numbers from 0843566xxxx on rotation that I have been blocking for 3+ years. It’s clearly cold calling for insurance as I have answered a call however most calls ring 3 times before ending the call. Very difficult to track. And every time you block one number, another variation of the first 7 numbers appears a few days later. Very annoying. Very frustrating.
