Kirsty , an automated survey, called Oct 9th 2014. I am ex-directory and registered with TPS. I am also disabled and find phone calls very stressful. Due to my disability, I need my phone line available at all times but this call blocked my access to my own phone line! I hung up and then went to make another call-- kirsty and her survey on energy supply was still prattling on! Hung up again but again, the call was still blocking my line when I tried to call out. Disgusting!

Getting a load of calls just hangs up when I answer, is always engaged on callback

introduced himself as from TPS, Telephone protection service and then some scam about attaching a box to line to stop nuisance calls which they would charge 50p a week for for 3 years.Awful that they are masquerading as Telephone Preference Service. Why have the police not stopped this obvious fraud, vulnerable and elderly will definitely be taken in by someone saying they are from TPS,i was convinced at first?

Yes this is a children s brain damage charity and I have had dealings with them in the past, however received 2 calls from them today 1st one was just heavy breathing left on answer phone? Second call wasn t answered and no message left, shall be having strong words if they phone again.

Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. I have had several calls from this number offering me a payday loan, the callers English is very poor and have used different names for the company they work for on occasion, definitely not a trustworthy caller.
