Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. We have all lost something at one time in our life and it hurts but nothing hurts more than when we are being lied to just to take advantage of our ambitious nature to get better or richer, these scammers always think they can get away with anything ,not this time !. Technically a scam investment binary company caught a hold of our neighbor who worked at the bank and it was at the early beginning of his investment and all was going good, he told us about this and showed proof of authenticity and successful
This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.

Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Fraudulent telephone call. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

Recorded message claiming to be from Visa, saying my Visa Debit card has been used for a very large payment. I don't have any Visa cards, so obviously a scam.
The caller ID showed metro dry cleaners but the caller said they were from carphone warehouse calling about a 'special promotion'. He said he got my number 'from the database'. Hung up and googled the number, possibly a scam using a legitimate business number

SCAM: A man claiming to from Medical Alert company, offering to sell me a personal alert alarm. A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). This scam is targeting disabled older people who may want an alarm.
Received a text saying: mum, I’ve lost my mobile, text me on this number. My daughter's home with me. On mother's day it is highly likely that several women will fall for this trick and possibly lose money by texting or calling this number. Be careful!
