Been a rash of these lately from different numbers. They ring and when you don t answer they send a text message from the number to say you missed a call from that number. Designed to appear as a normal phone notification, it s actually a text message from the caller. Far too dodgy to bother with. Suspect some kind of premium rate scam. Blocked obvs.

Prize scam? Just reconnected on my mobile and first incoming call recorded message I have been selected to win £1000. Really! Why are these numbers not regulated?
