I refuse to answer any unknown numbers and I have not given whom ever they are my number or given permission to anyone else to do so. Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.

Predictive dialler ... rang me many times, each time a silent call that lasted about 5 minutes before hanging up. When I FINALLY got a human, they gave me grief/threats about not completing the census. Then they tried to get me to fill out the form over the phone. Since it was an inbound call and I had no way to verify who they were I told then to bugger off... they didn't like that. They're still harassing me so I've blocked them.

I got a call from this number and they were obviously trying to get personal information from me. First they asked me to tell them who I was to confirm my identity (even though they claimed to know who I was because they were calling me!). Second they told me that I needed to complete a verification process online by going to a specific website on my computer. The page they told me to go to sounded like a scam and they were trying to get me to fill out more personal information.
01482787685 (tells us to call 0800 525631 when said we will call back -NO SUCH NUMBER) Claiming to be from Eon wanted to renew our supply that ends in 12 months time. Asked which account number they are referring to, did not know. Total Scam - Very poor English Speaking Asian Man. Do not know how they can sleep at night knowing they have scammed someone. Love to meet them FACE TO FACE would not have legs to stand on when finished -IDIOTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
