Phoned at 5.30pm on a Saturday. No one on the other end so blocked the number probably a scam.
Called from private number and left multiple voicemails requesting to speak to a company director, gave this number in the voicemails. Non-Anglophone accent.
Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. A man rang from this number, I think he said from PAC - had my name and said I had been advised by a financial adviser to move my pension. When I asked where he got this information, he said from Pensionwise. As far as I am aware Pensionwise do not have such information. I said I had not seen a financial advisor or been advised to move my pension. The man was very polite and rang off. I was suspicious and think it could have been a dangerous if I had shared financial info.
This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.
