01782255761 is a scam caller supposedly from BT Internet, Indian accent and wanted to download software onto my PC.

Today, told them again and said I was sick of getting these call. Superb sales man told me that I should " get F- - - K ING used to it ". If this is O2 all I can say is what a charming sales force you employ.

As per usual, Asian scammers trying to pretend they are "Commercial Power" to discuss your electricity. Get lost and stop wasting people's time - we are all wise to you thieves.

Had a missed call and went to ring the number then my phone advised it is potential fraud t or to buy. Comments on other sites advise this is a scam.

SCAM Called by this number early today. Female with a strong Indian accent, said she was from Vodaphone and offering me a new contract. I cut the call short as I was busy with other things. I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Number blocked, DANGEROUS SCAMMER for sure.

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Refusing to explain purpose of call, whenever she says she'll get the information and call back, she just rings up the next day asking for the CIO again. What a pointless waste of time!

Got a call from this number (I live in Central Europe, not in UK), they said I have registered for a stock exchage (not correct) and have 6000 USD to claim.

Claims to be HMRC, threatening legal action, textbook scam call center based in India, gets angry and curses at you when you don't treat them like they expect to be treated :)

SCAM - Missed the call and dialled back. Automated message confirms company name as Equifirst. Further investigation seems to suggest it is a scam online investment racket. There is a legitimate company with the same name selling horse feed, but they are not located in the UK nor have an 020 number. Avoid!

Obvious scam, claiming to be from EE retaining department. If you google the number it comes up as a Noodle bar in London. The guy on the call couldn't stop stumbling over his words when I called him out on things and then laughed at me when I said I knew it was a scam.
