Received a text message with the phrase "Hello, I'm curious. Why is your phone number in my address book and do we know each other?" Not the first time I have had this message out of the blue.
This number called me at 07:25 with an automated message saying they were from Amazon and that I should call them back, the line was very crackly.

This number calls me frequently. They claim to be Call Blocking Department. They appear to have my name but do not pronounce it correctly. I tell them I'm not interested, and ask them not to call me again. Irony of ironies, they keep calling. Without any firm evidence, I would say it reeks of a scam.

Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." 3/5/23 This phone number is highly risky. A man with a heavy accent who is barely audible through a crackling line purports to call 'about your computer'. When challenged that this is a scam - the caller became agitated and talked over me. I put the phone down. He called back and started shouting that I had nor right to call it a scam. I told him to get off the line or I would call the police. He said he didn't care about the police. I put the phone down. This Is a SCAM. A very distressing experience.

Someone speaking an Asian language called at 8am. When he realised I had answered he switched to English to tell me my broadband had been hacked. Asked the name of his firm - BT. Told him I would deal with it and hung up. Rang BT but the number was not theirs! how surprising. Number now blocked.

Called to say as I had not claimed under my boiler insurance my premiums were being reduced. As I don’t have my boiler insured presume this is a scam.
I think this is a possible scammer so be very careful.

Scam call from amazon prime claiming my subscription had expired
Fraud Claimed she was the techincal dept of Virgin Media and that she could see that my internet connection was fluctuating and that she could restart my router to get a better connection. I told her she had called a business and which point she hung up.

Caller ID said it was Gourmet Burger however the person that spoke sounded like they were in a call centre reading off a script. When I asked them to repeat what they had said they hung up.

Missed call - Suspicious On 3rd May 2023, whilst out, they called twice within 1 minute. Then had a call from 07504642947 1 minute later - So probably linked to 07464414224 / spoofing numbers.
