Called once, hung up on answering. Called back. Claimed to be AA Accident Care Team. Had no accident at all since driving. Never been with the AA! Bunch if scammers!

She claimed that she s from an insurance company of sort, and said that my car was involved in a car accident. I don t even have a car.

Scam call saying £600 on MasterCard had been used abroad

Received five (5) calls in a mere three (3) hours this afternoon (16-05-18) from this same telephone number, 0131 285 6768. This raised my suspicions so before returning the call I came upon this site. Thank you.

Told me I had claim back on insurance hidden in mortgage and eventually...after I d been very cynical and searched online, asked for my expiry date and then said needed long card number on credit card not linked to my mortgages for a check. When I said this didn t make sense they hung upM. Give them nothing!

I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal. Yes we can check who you are currently with, but it takes time so it s easier just to ask. Sor

Just paid my bill over the phone.. the agent asked me at the end of the call if I would be interested in a smart meter and could i do a survey about how I had been dealt with.. I said a definite no to both.. 30 seconds later a call from this 0800 number..... annoying..... how did they get my number.. surely no means no.......

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. When called the person answering did not know the address of the head office! The name of chief executive given by staff different to that held by Companies House CEBTA (Campaign for Ethics for Business Transfer Agents) and Google have some very intersting comments! See also 0800 393664
