SCAM Robot Dialer, with recorded piffle about being from "VISA" and trying to confirm a £300 payment to Amazon and an International Money Transfer of £1000. eventually got an Indian speaker who was qute surprised when i asked her for the Passcode. Then hung up. Tried to report to Action Fraud, but they are only interested if you have lost money, and it is by Email or to a Mobile Number.

It's the tedious call back scam where naive people (marks) call back thinking that it's a local/national number when, in fact, the return call is redirected to a premium rate number without the mark's knowledge. I received a phone call from +44 20 8097 5643 claiming I recently responded to a social media ad (I didn't). The scam company is 'Apollo.Expect' their website is https://apollo.expert/ and the caller claimed they were based in oxford and major cities across Europe. There is nothing online about the company so I immediately knew it was a scam. After reminding them they are in breach of GDPR the call immediately ended.

I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Number blocked, DANGEROUS SCAMMER for sure.
