SCAM Male called at 10.30am 22/2/21. Stated he was from Domestic Appliance Care. Not Domestic and General. We have a policy with D&G and this man gave details of our appliances we have covered. He stated out address and offered a 35% discount. I asked for it through the post and he stated he would need the sort code of our bank. Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.
