Call centre spam / scam. Said she was from a company called MEA (I think). Claiming there was an issue with a life insurance policy, so there would be a problem with a payout. I don't know the company or have a policy with them.

Called me twice stating he was from Microsoft and stated our computer was being hacked. on the second call he shouted, "Have I tried to sell you something... NO!!!!! Have I asked you for your bank account or for money... NO!!" I was very angry and gave him some nice new words to look up. There is no way he was a specialist from Microsoft!

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. SCAM Callcenter claiming to be a solicitor firm offering to add me to their group compensation claim against Mercedes and BMW for emissions defeating devices fitted to cars. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database.
