nThis is just another scam phone call.

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. If they are, perhaps others will not follow their example. I do not worry for myself, but people who fall for their smooth talking. Barclays calling me post successful packaged bank account claim to check if I wanted to keep the package or not. Did not call the number back, instead called Barclays on a website published number to verify it before opening up any discussion, Never give out details to people on incoming calls from numbers you simply don t know are 100% genuine.

Scam re tv insurance payments. Getting 3 or 4 similar calls a day as a result of a telephone "lifestyle survey". Best just to hang up on these people. I am ex-directo...

For once, an unknown number that is actually legit. It was a call from Thames Water. I didn t answer as I didn t recognise the number but the voice message was genuine with specific details (including the correct address) about a drainage issue I d discussed with them earlier. Genuine call.
