Fake Amazon customer service.
Silent call telephone 01216636185 - phoned my disconnected mobile which still allows incoming calls. I answered the number and they disconnected. Phone number is located as a landline number based in Birmingham!
Rang back but number doesn't exist.

01213890166 said it was Sky asking if I have problems with my VPN blah blah blah. Wanted me to check everything that's connected internet then asked me to open google. All I could hear in background was a busy room of people doing same thing. Didn't feel legitimate at all so hung up, can't be that important because never called back

This number was used to send me a Payment Request from a Caroline Fox via PayPal for £729. I called PayPal and reported phishing. Apparently this is not the first time this request has been made from this person.

I have received 3 text messages from a number claiming to be BTBusiness asking me to call them back at this number or text STOP to 60251. As I don't have an account with BT at all, I've ignored them but 3 messages in 3 days is a bit annoying.
This was a scam number claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently, they asked for card details before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.

I think this might actually be a valid Co-op number. I say that because: 1. I tried to make some credit-card payments while abroad, but they were declined. 2. This number called my mother to check the payments. 3. When my mother confirmed with them that the payment attempts were valid, my card started working again! But I cannot 100% confirm. My mother actually received three calls over the weekend. Sadly this number is not shown on the Co-op website. So it's difficult to verify.

A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.
