Calls every day, sometimes several times a day and usually in the afternoons about a ficticious accident a family member was supposed to have had in 2013.
I was called by a lady from Meme Makeovers from this number. A lady offered my a photoshoot for a competition I had won from a wedding exhibition where I had left my details. She subsequently was incredibly rude and pretty much accused me of lying when I told her that her sales rep had not told me about a deposit of £35 and when I told her to call me the next day so I could think about it before committing, became pretty aggressive - complete disaster!! I m being inundated with nuisance calls, mainly international or weird numbers. Most hang up if you can t get to the phone within second. My trick, grab the phone, put it by radio or tv, you note they don t hang up then. THEN TURN THE VOL UP. If it deafens them hard luck!!

UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. Fraud - told me my computer ID has been hacked and to turn on my computer so he could fix it. When asked how he would fix it, he said I wouldn't understand!
PPI scam - calls my mobile several times a day, everyday. They ask for me by name then go on about I am due a PPI refund. They change their number by 1 digit, but I have blocked all of them so far, so their calls are now auto-rejected. My dad is in a hospice now and only has a short time left, so every time my phone rings, I panic. I m sick of these harassing calls!

On picking up the phone the line was silent for a couple of seconds, then there was the brief sound of call centre chatter and the line went dead. Almost certainly a scam call.
i was rung and told it was BT and that there had been some suspicious activity on our internet recently. I was asked to google Anydesk which I know is a method whereby a person can remotely access your laptop. No way. I put the phone down.
