So I asked her for my ID and I would check it and ring Microsoft back. She came up For all sorts of resins so I hung up She rang back and my husband answered and said he didn’t know anyone. Automated call telling me £1000 had been taken from my account for a gambling site in the USA. It then followed saying £300 had been taken to pay Amazon. Neither of these things have happened. It asked to press 1 or 3 as a follow up.
This call was supposed to be from Amazon telling me I had ordered something for 399 pounds.I get these calls nearly every day why don t the police get after these scammers.

Just had a call to my landline from this number, saying it was a survey about loft installation and asking me to confirm a few details , which I refused to do, and then he said its nothing to worry about, I said I wasn't worried about anything otherwise it would be me ringing up someone, not them ringing me. I let him babble on a bit more and then said let me stop you there, it's my Husband you need to talk to not me and he's not in, so he just hung up. I would say this was a SCAM.
