I have been called several times today from this number... Once I answer there is a long pause...............then you here background noise, no speaks and they hang up...

Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. I returned to Johnny and advised this, to which he said "did you tell him it s a financial matter?". I responded, "No, because you didn t say it was. But he won t take the call". He persisted for a little longer before he hung up on

I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal. Have had several calls from "Excellent Life", displaying different numbers including 02036096500. Always ask for me by name. Sometimes they give an address and ask if it s correct, but don t do anything if you give a different address. First question is always "are you working or retired?". If I give a vague answer ("I m an enumerator, what would you call that?"), they go on to the next question, always "what is your age group?". They hang up when I refuse to answer. My guess is that they are collecting
