Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). Pretending to be an automated call to query transactions on your credit card, requesting to press a key to confirm or cancel the transactions. Left to answer machine so don't know what it does if you respond.

This was an automated call suggesting tax fraud and possible imprisonment. Do not respond to these scammers.

It reported to be from Santander fraud department, asking to reply y or n to a text about an attempted purchase at Argos. Blocked the number and reported it as SPAM.

I was called at 12:30 while eating my lunch, it was a woman saying she was an energy advisor in my area. When I said "sorry what company are you from", she rudely hung up! Obviously a fraud as I live near ther south coast not in the area of Blackburn.

Three mobile impersonators. Very convincing and only triggered to be a scam when tried to charge me upfront on my card.
