I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. Then they sent me an sms meant to look like it was coming from my voicemail inbox ("Hei, du har 1 tapt anrop fra +447950497526 17/06/20 15:09, Hilsen Telefonsvar). I got the same type of fake text message from +44 (0) 02033189707, which is listed on this site as a harassment number. The text is designed to make you click the number in the message to dial them. Very suspicious.

Hi, As far as I am aware this is a telemarketing scam posing as Advantis Credit Agency. The number is not related to them however if you were to search Advantis this is the first company you will find. Do not call them back! Advantis Credit have a poor reputation as parasites any how, but the phone number is rip off. Cheers and Good luck.

I have received two calls from this number. The first time I called it back and heard something along the lines of we claim you gain. When I asked if the call was to do with PPI, I was assured it was not but had called a company which acted as a switchboard for 40 different companies. As usual, when I was hard at work on something important that needed concentration, I got this call again. The usual recorded voice addressed me as "Dear customer". Before turning to Tellows I looked it up on another site and found there had been 169 complaints about it there alone in a few days. Surely the authorities can do something about this, or are the perpetrators so clever they cannot be traced? I hope they are, and that they will get their deserts for their criminal behaviour.
