My record will show that I have been alert through two telephone contacts from my sheltered housing flat in ensuring that my bills are timeously paid with appropriate assurances. I, no-one I know, and no-one in their right mind would answer an unknown number. After searching through hospital numbers for fear it might be a dear friend trying to get in touch I found tonight the 10 or more calls came from my energy supplier with whom prior arrangements were amicably in place. A call with an automated message about a case being filed against me by HMRC. I have barred the tel. no. (01618 506868) as a scam. Be aware that if you call back, someone might answer as if HMRC. The foreign gent sounded unsure of himself when I queried his being with HMRC, so I laughed and said "I don t think so!"and hung up.
I get roughly 10 calls a day from London which I presume is the same company with same first 7 numbers being 020 3966 followed by 2150, 2146 and 2264, no message is ever left ...

SCAMCaller kept asking me questions and kept talking over me when I tried to ask him questions. Really dodgy call. Wanted to send someone out to look at the insulation in my loft and to see if there was any damp or rot, if there was then I could have it sorted for a fee. The call just rang alarm bells for me and is almost definitely a scam of some sort.

I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.
Had a call from this number. They did not leave a message.
