Indian man with bad English claiming he was from Windows security, he said my IP address was causing problems told me to write a number down so played along then he said my surname I then asked who is this person he then said my name and address I said I do not know this and that is not me he then hung up. not suer who he got the details from but will report it.

This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.

I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. SPAM Didn't respond when I answered the phone. Never received a call from this number before, so I hung up after a few seconds. My Pixel phone then pinged a notification suggesting it could well be spam. Blocked.

Attempt at an O2 scam, told me I was entitled to a free gift and discount on my tariff as a loyalty reward. I then got sent text messages from O2 with a security code that the caller wanted (not given). It was an attempt to access/take over my account.

Number 01665604816 seems to belong to a legitimate company, but the number is faked and displayed by thieves trying to access people's bank accounts with fake warnings about illegitimate payments from their account.

This was a Scam Amazon call telling me that £95 was being deducted from my account. I confronted the caller who immediately terminated the call.

Amazon scam saying you have bought items that you have not. If you try to report that they have it wrong they get your details that can get them access to your bank account, and hence all the money you have in it.

Calling me about a PPI claim 7 years ago,? They insisted helped me get a refund (which they didn't) and now threatening to start legal action unless I pay them compensation. SCAMMERS TO THE VULNERABLE

I believe I have received what I believe to be a scam call from this number stating payments have been taken form my bank for Amazon and Western Union press 1 for customer support. Any 'odd' payments would not be reported by my bank in this way
