SPAM called today, came up as suspected spam on my mobile so I left it to go to voicemail, no message left. Suspect the warning was on the money.

SPAM from a caller with a strong foreign accent, possibly Indian. I struggled to understand what was being said. They were wanting me to confirm that I was the council or housing association tenant and to discuss paying for repairs/damages. Addressed me by my first name. This was the second call of this nature I had had, albeit from a different number, of the same nature in less than 1/2 hour. I believe it was the same company who had ignored my initial request to remove my number from their list.

SCAM This came as a text from evri. Giving a link to track. Didn’t click the link but the number is not correct for the evri website.

SPAM Didn't respond when I answered the phone. Never received a call from this number before, so I hung up after a few seconds. My Pixel phone then pinged a notification suggesting it could well be spam. Blocked.

As a badly disabled person tthe number cuts me off just as i am about to answer it, I find that i cannot keep up with these calls they make me worry about them could it be the hospital calling me about my recent Heart operation results?

Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Very odd and certainly not into giving my views on our amazing NHS to a country that wants to bloody buy it off us!!

Text Message claimed to be missed delivery with a link to Evrie imitation site. Asks for your details on first page including date of birth then on next page says there is a small redelivery charge for new time slot and asks for credit card details. Beware, all the makings of a scam to get your card details.

Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! He started talking nonsense and generally being cheeky so I asked him to remove my number from his database, advised he would, asked if the music was loud enough for me etc, told him call wasn't costing me anything, he hung up, CLOWN

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. the person claims to be from British Gas or another energy provider saying his name is either Peter or Jay he is pushy and aggressice keeps calling demanding to speak to a manager when you refuse he keeps calling and is rude and wont take no for answer especially when you state you dont wnat his business now blocked numbers from his mobile and this number, avoid at all costs as he will keep calling i had 25 calls in less than 4 minutes, after telling him i am going with another energy provider!

Automatic message claiming to be Amazon to advise that a purchase had been made on my Bank card of £872 and to press 1 on my phone.

Fraud automated saying my bank was compromised £600 going abroad if it wasn't me to press 1 but it never gave a bank name it just said "your bank account" so i hung up and blocked

01135-191840 WARNING - DANGEROUS SCAM! It's a computer dialling a block of numbers in sequence to sniff out voice phone lines. If you speak, the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will be logged, a scammer will then call you later! They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.

Claimed to be from my bank and asked for clearance for a payment I had supposedly made for nearly £1000.

Recorded message, US voice "The number you have dialled is not in service. Please check the number and try again."

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse
