A lady with a very strong accent told me she was from Microsoft and was ringing about a problem with my computer, I told her I had had these calls before and did not believe her.

SPAM This number leaves an automated robotic sounding message with a slight american accent if the call is unanswered. But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964

They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.

Fraud - Text advising me to contact this number and giving a OTP to complete a purchase from Cost-Co. Lots of capital letters, clearly designed to arouse anxiety to encourage a call back. Clearly aimed at the elderly IMO.

I was targeted for an unusually precise scam 26/05/23 in which a group telephoned me apparently with specific knowledge of my bank organisation, my name and mobile number. The scam started by suggesting there was fraudulent activity on my bank account, and that the account was being temporarily suspended. What surprised me was that they knew who I banked with, and also spoofed the relevant bank telephone number

We were called by this number to say that £300 had been spent on amazon and over £1000 had been spent on an international transfer. They said to press 1 to allow those transactions. We hung up.

I was called tonight and they said they were from Santander. regarding a payment. I had to authorise it was a scam. Please be very very very careful.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. I have got no idea who this is...I am in the Netherlands and every day I am receiving AT LEAST 5 calls from different UK/London numbers including this one, all from the above location Carter Lane Gardens. I dont answer and when I did try to call one of the numbers back I got a recorded message telling me the number wasnt in use. Getting seriously fed up with it.

SCAM - Pretending to be O2, tries to get you to verify using texts from O2.. DON'T DO IT! Basically they log on to O2 and use the 'forgot password' function on your account.. the texts are real, but they are just using the detaisl to change your password and gain access to your account. SCAM

SCAM - sent message pretending to be AMEX with a passcode for a purchase and to call a number if I hadn't made the purchase (which I hadn't). Called American express on their actual number - The message was not from them. It is a phishing text.Fraud

My laptop locked when I pressed a link, it stated my IP address was compromised and gave me this number to ring Microsoft. I called it was not professional I knew something was up do not follow their instructions. Close and restart your PC
